The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has declared the RBI Assistant Prelims Result 2026 today, May 25, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the preliminary examination can now check their qualifying status through the official website opportunities.rbi.org.in.
RBI conducted the preliminary examination on April 11, 13, and 30, 2026, across multiple exam centres in India. This recruitment drive aims to shortlist candidates for Assistant posts under the RBI Panel Year 2025. According to official updates, around 8,171 candidates qualified for the next stage of the selection process.
Candidates can now download the RBI Assistant Result 2026 PDF from the official portal. First, they need to visit the RBI opportunities website and open the “Results” section. Next, they should click on the RBI Assistant Prelims Result 2026 link. After opening the PDF, candidates can use the Ctrl + F option to search for their roll numbers quickly.
The result PDF contains zone-wise roll numbers of shortlisted candidates along with important instructions for the next stage. Meanwhile, RBI will conduct the RBI Assistant Mains Examination on June 7, 2026. The central bank will soon release the mains admit cards and exam instructions online.
Candidates who clear the mains examination will later appear for the Language Proficiency Test (LPT), which serves as the final stage of recruitment. RBI will also publish category-wise cutoffs and candidate scorecards after the recruitment process concludes.
