The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is set to announce the HSC Result 2026 very soon. According to recent updates, the result may be declared within the next one or two days, bringing relief to over 14 lakh students who appeared for the Class 12 exams this year.
The HSC examinations were conducted from February 10 to March 18, 2026, and the evaluation process is now complete. Interestingly, DigiLocker has already displayed a “Coming Soon” tag for the marksheets, indicating that the official result release is imminent.
Students can check their results through the official websites: hscresult.mahahsscboard.in or mahresult.nic.in or mahahsscboard.in
Candidates will need their seat number and mother’s first name to access the result. Additionally, students can also check their scores via SMS by typing:
MHHSC <Seat Number> and sending it to 57766.
Digital marksheets will also be available on DigiLocker for easy access.
To pass the HSC exam, students must secure at least 35% marks in both theory and practical components. The grading system is as follows:
- Distinction: 75% and above
- First Division: 60% to 74%
- Second Division: 45% to 59%
After the result declaration, students can apply for rechecking or revaluation if needed. Verification of marks costs ₹50 per subject, while full revaluation is available for ₹300 per subject.
Students are advised to stay calm and rely only on official sources for updates. In case of heavy website traffic, try again after some time or use SMS services.
